The shorts are only 2.5% of issued WHC shares currently. A stock like KAR - 11% short, the U stocks PDN 18%, BOE 16%, DYL 11% not to mention the Lithiums.
The same companies issuing substantial shareholder notices are probably behind the shorting as the SP declines.
If Trumps policies keep interest rates up ... 3% Div is less significant.
Hmmmm ... let's see if this "mini-pop" holds.
