Great move today.

Looks like COB might try to close the gap from 2018 at 25c over the next few days. I'm hoping once that's complete we pullback and consolidate in the low 20s before the next leg up as from there its blue sky up to 60-70c.

After a long winter for battery metals, 2021 is finally shaping up to be what we saw a glimpse of back in 2017/2018. Only this time its the real deal with accelerating demand/sales and limited ex-China/DRC sources of supply. 2020 was the year Tesla raised the profile of EVs to the mainstream, 2021 will be the year that the mainstream realise that production of ESG friendly battery materials like cobalt and lithium do not grow on trees and as demand grows, the supply crunch will be inevitable.
