Interesting you are using a log scale for the last chart, which tends to paint a distorted picture given the weighting structure of the model and compression of the higher values - rarely used in TA. Not here to debate but just to point that out to TA newcomers. Not a bad idea to look at support and resistance from different viewpoints.

Speaking of different charting approaches, the long term weekly candle GANN Fan/Square is either on or very close to a major structural pivot at these levels. (the third "arc" of this downtrend) GANN has a "time element" in there for turns as well so its quite useful for identifying "zones". Also looks interesting from a head and shoulder reversal perspective.
