Basically technical analysis is understanding candle stick patterns that represent daily price action/movements such as open, high, low & close price for the day. There are many online tools & resources to explain the basics of technical analysis & candle stick pattern recognition in trading. I like to use both technical analysis along with fundamental analysis - as feel they compliment each other.
