As others have stated, the SP is vulnerable to manipulation and tree shaking with a lack of news flow. As far as we know, the fundamentals of the company haven't changed. The market depth looked weak at the start of trading and I reckon some people took advantage of that situation to spook weak hands to sell up. I wouldn't be surprised if we see the SP finish down maybe only 3% or perhaps even. On the 23rd of December we had a eerily similar situation happen and then a decent rally afterwards.
