"What do you think of the nearmap guys?"

What I think isn't really relevant but as you ask: They appear to have a good track record and considerable respect amongst their peers. With that said, it doesn't make sense that they would straddle SPA, unless they genuinely see a very very bright future for SPA.
They are not cheap and I, 100% disapprove of the exorbitant cash remuneration they are getting but that's a common problem amongst the ASX's small caps. They way they are doing it is a win win for the crew and huge gamble for shareholders, should they fail they walk a way with a slight dent in their reputation and a swag of our cash, should they succeed they still get the cash and a huge chunk of the company.

Any day soon and possibly this week we should see some Q3 numbers which could show some early signs of multibager or dog with fleas, fingers crossed.
