I'd suggest reading Reminiscences of a Stock Operator by Edwin LeFevre(Jessie Livermore story) with regards to manipulation. Then think about how stocks go to absurdly high valuations in bull markets and think about the likeness of Livermore's bull manipulators with today's institutions. Then read his thoughts on share price suppression for accumulation ... it just doesn't happen, if a stock is pushed below it's fair value someone is going to step in and buy it, it's not like there aren't big players watching this name, there's a good reason why it can't get going. Maybe instead of worrying about manipulation you should be asking why no funds/institutions are taking the chance to accumulate a large position in this. p.s go read the threads of any HC stock with a reasonable following that has been falling and it's always due to manipulation, never just because people are selling the stock. ZIP for example was manipulated from $10 to 40c or so LOL

Hi Hingdog, You only have to review past Court judgements relating to this particular matter and or Google search for ‘market manipulation’ to quickly work out that it does sadly occur. Some should also recall Rene Rivkin.
