How much more do I need to spell out my thought process. Ask your broker how predators creep, crawl and nibble to control, sometimes with multiple low ball offers over several years.

IGO doesn’t seem in any hurry to me, they’ve had a stake in PAN for nearly three years without increasing it, except incidentally via WSA. In case you need your broker to do your arithmetic for you take it from me, that can get to the 30% I suggested in a mere 18 months via the ASX creep provision, but as you appear to have failed to read (or at least to comprehend) I was actually suggesting that if they wanted control only then they might want to make a low ball offer as well as using the “ASX creep” provision.

There are many reasons why IGO may be quite happy to have effective control without full beneficial interest.

Remember WSA was happy to have just beneficial interest and not even any control.
