Just some thoughts on the price of Ni which seems to be depressing PAN sp. Given that Trafigura is the victim of a $577m fraud. That's about 20/1K tons of missing Ni. That's about 40% of LME stock. If 21K of Ni is missing from the market, Then: Trafigura has a number of problems and questions to answer. 1. were they trying to corner the market? 2. have they sold forward any of the Ni they thought they owned? 3. If so: where is this metal to be sourced? Hmm. now seems to be a supply side squeeze. Along with the Big Short, and now an attempt to corner supply side. What price Ni futures? Come on Big Boys, & TB, what do you think?
Just some early morning musings.
cheers
