Only thing I wouldn’t agree with EL is the ‘squiggles’ part.
TA and the trend is not to be ignored as squiggles as they can generally paint important sentiment and operational information.
Market is always forward thinking, many examples where shareholders left scratching their heads about companies falling share price only to realise the fundamentals have finally caught up to the share price/ valuation.
A savvy investor should always consider both TA/ FA in my opinion.
