We already knew that
a) Monash and IDT were working towards what was announced today.
b) that IDT had received a machine that would enable them to manufacturer a small quantity of mRNA vaccine.
Therefore I feel that today's news was expected at some point anyway.

So it was only a matter of waiting patiently.
Long term, I completely agree with other posters that suggest IDT can be what CSL is currently.
Short term, there will be some volatility.

What is in the short term future. Hard to say, because the IDT share price is prime for being influenced positively and negatively by political announcements this close to an election. .
We saw what happened in the chart since the high at the end of August. Everyone was excited, it was going to $1 or $10 etc. Instead is slowly wound its way down.
I'm happy with getting a small gains here and there.
