I don't quite understand your interpretation of this stock chart-wise. Today, fore example, $1mill has traded hands at close to historic (last 8 or so years anyway), yet you call it selling pressure. I would look at this as more of buying pressure than selling as being at highs, the sellers would predominantly be profit takers whereas the sellers would be expecting rises.
It is clear to me there is some decent accumulation going on. Why push the price up when you can sit at the top and have eager profit takers selling into you?
