Carbon tax is a small factor, but will help. I think the whole market in general will get a boost from the election, with all the uncertainty around no one wants to invest, especially big business. A labour win will give a little bit of stability but not a great deal of confidence, a liberal win will give business a shot in the arm I feel, like a breath of fresh air I guess.

Will it last, don't know but it is a step forward, lets pray we don't have another hung parliament.

The feather in the pocket for me is ARI has stated it wishes to expand into other metals and it has some of the best prospective areas around in the now opened up defence areas. Another BHP in the making? would that not be ironic given where we have come from.
