i dont blame anyone for my trading mistakes but myself

after further research though I think trading the VIX is an essential component of any traders arsenal

As a swing trader, when I open a whole new set of long positions and if the VIX is at a very low point, it would make a great hedge until all my stops(on my longs) have been moved up so I can cash out at profit or no loss

if the market goes crazy and the DOW turns I can loosen my stops as the VIX will soar and my portfolio will be hedged
