The board has to do something significant in order to restore credibility and confidence.
A new CEO and replacement of key board members would help. So would a deal with money on the table. Normally I would not be tempted by an early deal at marginally less than ideal terms, but these times are not normal. I think a deal ought to be made on any sort of reasonable terms for something. It doesn't have to be opiates. How about a lidocaine deal or an acne deal?
I feel that this is a matter that needs to be approached with an urgency that was not necessarily appropriate a year ago, but is now.
