Hey Harlan, I'm one of those US folks that are new to this forum. We have been aware of A2 protein originally through years of research and eventually ownership and breeding of Saanen goats. When we found the A2 Milk Co. it was great. After studying the company we eventually converted our retirement funds over to A2 stock with no regrets.
The science I think will eventually be confirmed - whoever pays for the research. Studying the most recent Chinese research, the approach and reporting of techniques, setup and results is legit. As for growth and consumption in the US I can only speak anecdotally of our local grocery store. A2 milk has grown over the past 4 months from occupying a small position in the crowded "alternative" dairy section to a prominent eye-level row of 5 positions (2 chocolate, 2 whole milk, 1 2% milk) - and is selling at a brisk pace. And we're in a part of the country that has lots of dairy farms, some in the conversion process to a2/a2.
