They are directly related. If one goes up by a greater or lesser percentage (assuming both exchanges are open for trading at that time) then it is entirely down to movements in the NZD/AUD exchange rate. Today, for example, the NZD weakened which means ATM rises more than A2M (plus a bit of a catch up due to a strong close for A2M in the last hour of trading last night when the NZX was closed)
