Thanks for the lesson, but i fully understand how takeovers work and have been involved in many over the last 35 years of trading.
I will put it simply if we went into a trading halt this morning and an offer lobbed at lets say $12 a 30% premium to Tuesday price and the offer said it had acquired 15% of A2. Most people would say that whilst some of yesterdays rise could be attributed to the report many would say it may also just be due to that bidder buying.
