I looked it up. Quarantine free travel from NZ started on 21 April. That should help even if only at the margins.
Unemployment fairly low there- but you are looking for the employed who are are looking for better wages etc.
And locals needing to travel for work or whatever now that jobseeker has ended.
And projects completing and releasing workers for existing and new projects.
Life is good.
