    Maybe that sheepdog analogy of locking in a calm and happy contract for both sides is oddly apt?

    Primero is expanding too and ,on it’s Facebook page, using the words ‘rapid’ and  ‘unprecedented’ to describe the growth!
    How will it all translate to dollars and cents at the end of the day?

    — And as an aside, speaking of dollars and cents at dusk (perhaps with an emphasis on ‘sense’ )
    At Gascoyne Resources there is talk of restart with a new contractor this year due to the largest GCY owners deciding the long -term existing deal with NRW is too onerous.
    — That’s an interesting strategic direction given NRW is third  largest owners with 8.67% [ref] ?

    (For those who don’t know, GCY is currently suspended and in December wrote it “intends to remain in voluntary suspension until it is in a position to make an announcement regarding the finalisation of its restructure program, which is currently anticipated to occur on or before 28 February 2023

    And FWIw, of GCY, The Australian’s Nick Evans  wrote on 07/01/23 ;
    … “Gascoyne Resources
    Gascoyne has been suspended from trading since November, as the company struggles to deal with a way to turn its Dalgaranga gold deposit into cash amid rising costs and a shortage of skilled labour.
    But its near-mine Never Never discovery looks good at this early stage, and if there’s scale as well as grade it could reverse Gascoyne’s reputation as a struggler.
    But the question will be how that is accomplished.
    Regis Resources and Ramelius Resources are both said to be interested in the company – but mystery German investor Wilhelm Zours, through Deutsche Balaton – holds close to 20 per cent of Gascoyne stock, and it’s never been easy predicting that group’s response to corporate approaches.
    Or does the company remain a stand-alone, and reinvent itself as an explorer for a time and prove up the new deposit before bringing the haul trucks and explosives rigs back in?
    It’s difficult to see long-term Gascoyne holders becoming big winners either way in the short term, but Gascoyne’s fate looks to be one of the more intriguing stories in the gold sector this year.”

    That company, long-entwined with NRW, continues to play out it’s interesting karma?
    Hopefully NRW will be a big winner after it’s long support, and with talk (again) of GCY value lying in underground mining, hopefully  it has already deployed its’ valuable teams and equipment to jobs which suit better?

    cheers
