So something else in my ever-expanding world of “not understood ” is, of course, shorting activity
Here is today’s picture along with the statistics of gross short sales up to yesterday .
The chart notes there are many still but they are diminishing rapidly .
But my latest dilemma is .... if there were 3,037,750 shorts open on February 19 ( there were)
Then how could gross shorts sales of only 68,199 on February 20 shown on https://www.shortman.com.au/stock?q=Nwh as per the photograph, equate to a reduction of more than a quarter of a million open shorts by close the same day?
...And are we obliged by some mighty power that holds the company in check (Big Finance?) NOT to make any more positive announcements until the shorts have had time to make an orderly exit ?
If so, and if they continue to leave at the rate of a quarter of a million a day (despite what volume statistics say) then I predict we may get another good announcement in eight days ...... ie next Friday.
