As a millennial having no experience in economic recession, more so with depression, I have spent most of the month cashing out all my wealth.
Felt pity for bank branch managers and tellers having to physically count the notes...
This is as I wondered how far the $20B per ADI can go when the greatest depression hits.
Just by looking at the big 4, total deposits are already beyond $2.3T ~ hence only about < 4% are covered.
Made me rethink midway through the cashing out episondes that I might just have left most of it in A2M than going around banks everyday to cash all out.
However, when bank runs occur, I can sleep easy.
