Comes down to the contracts signed between the parties. The big boys can continue to refresh their stocks as they tend to loan between related parties anyway.
Shorts will tend to cover before results unless they are betting on a bad result as otherwise they can be badly burnyt.
be awrae that A2 and other stocks havea certain amount of shorts as insurance against sudden market movements, i.e market suddenly drops, my shorts cover my other drops.
