Who cares if it is illegal or not. My point was that it is weird, creepy behavior and there is no way a rational person can justify it as a worthwhile use of time or energy. Following a stranger from forum to forum on the internet for the sole purpose of harassing them is not a behavior that I think Hot Copper should allow.
Hard to believe that this would be a controversial point of view, but says a lot about people who would like to defend such behavior.
