I have been trawling the CBEC sites. There is almost no discounting at all on Tmall 40% of the market. I could only find one product line by one supplier discounted. On JDCom all the discounted lines are now out of stock and many of the previously discounted lines have now had their prices increased significantly. There are some stores still discounting for a special promotion which expires in a few days and one Spring Rain, which is still discounting but the amounts from the normal retail price are much smaller. It looks to me as if the excess stock process is almost gone, and pricing is nearly back to normal. Moreover volumes of sales are relatively high by previous standards. The CBEC channels have many product lines with the comment "Traceability at the bottom of the can", so it seems that is now fully operational.
