Management that structure their business around a potential takeover isn't ideal. With low interest rates debt can be good for growing the business into other markets that have left since covid. Same goes for capital raising, although with those cash reserves it wouldn't be good to dilute shareholders... Why keep that much cash reserves earning bugger all interest?
