Seems we are thinking alike on those numbers.

FYI, even accounting for the lag between that site being updated, and when the company reports store numbers, there seems to be a mismatch between the site's numbers and actual store count. If i recall correctly, it showed around 2k stores higher at the end of the year than what was reported as actual store count in 1H21 report.

So at any point I would just assume the actual figure is maybe 2-3k lower than what is there (and I don't know why, but my best guess is that some of the stores in the bigger list online don't get taken down from the list when if they shut down or no longer carry the stock?)
