What I haven’t figured out yet is even though the share price has appreciated over a $1 in the last 2 weeks, the shorting of the stock has has also increased to reach 7% today or 51 million shares.
There seems to be 2 camps here fighting it out right at the moment. If the August results achieves consensus for FY 21 with a relatively positive outlook for FY 22 and beyond, this will rocket the stock up to $10, just with short covering alone.
I liked today’s announcement where they mentioned emerging markets, I think the CEO will be outlining their new strategy to target growth in these countries.
