...... either way you look at it, the spat between Synlait and A2M is doing neither of them any good.


Without A2M as a customer Dunsandel would be worth considerably less than what it may be valued at today but on the flipside A2M need Dunsandel to continue producing their IF product for China - how much stock they hold on hand to cover any downtime in a receivership process if the plant was temporarily shuttered is also an unknown .....


...... no one knows what involvement A2M will have (if any) or whether they are part of any discussions but holding a 19.99% blocking stake one would assume they are .... we also don't know what stage A2M are at in relation to their own SAMR registration behind the scenes or whether they are in discussions with other players holding a SAMR registration given they are seeking to revoke Synlait's exclusivity etc ?


It's all conjecture from us retail plebs until they advise of the actual circumstances but I would hazard a guess that A2M have a plan and are implementing that plan behind the scenes as we speak given IF is their bread and butter .... lucky they are now selling IF to the USA I guess ?
