Majority of trades through out day are insto bots. That is clear from the log. The buy walls and sell walls are instos not retail. So yes they do push prices.
"It's a cognitive bias on your part to constantly assume they only want the company to fail and to undermine the SP."
Not really. That would insinuate there was no reason for price to drop 75% and no reason for them to spread their bs narrative in their reports. It dropped a lot faster than it took to gain, so yes there is an incentive to make money from the company failing. Alot it seems. 4 years and price still trash, (still over 60% down) so not as much can be made from gains it seems or price would be not be struggling to pass 6 as have had only new from a2 that contradicts the bs narrative put out by instos.
They only want to profit off that direction whatever it is""
Sure do and they do eveything dodgy possible to do this. Spoof walls, fake narrative reports, pump and dumps, short and distorts whatever other illegal manipulation methods.
" Instos are just one or two steps ahead, which gives them a potential advantage",
Remove the potnetial it does give them an advantage and make that 10 steps ahead. Really if you had 100 mill, you actually think that wouldn't be able to infleunce the SP. Yea right. The volumes traded are much lower than that on day to day basis. Could influence how want and retail get no sniff as nowwhere near that collective power.
I think here It's a cognitive bias on your part to constantly assume that instos have no power to manipulate the prices when its so blatantly obvious. There is no reason whatsover to defend instos at all.
Overall
Instos = Always bad. Recognise.
