    I have no idea how to interpret a loan from Bright - why would they agree to it? They do not receive any further equity and when/how would it ever be paid back?

    Does it give Bright some other form of leverage in the situation ?

    Hardly inspiring that Synlait can't offload Dairyworks and their financial performance deteriorated even further. I guess the only silver lining is that it was NOT due to any change in demand for infant formula.
