I have finally sold out of A2M. My journey with A2M started from personal investments at 91c (8000 shares in 2015) and I was lucky enough to continue purchasing on the way up. I also purchased through my SMSF in the $13 range. I sold my personal A2M inverstment just short of the peak. A lot of luck involved in that sale - it had reached a stage where it would pay off my mortgage so I sold. I kept the SMSF portion which has obviously sustained a serious loss. Like many, I have stayed with it, in the hope of recouping the loss, but now have found greener pastures and have already outperformed A2M. (I bought additional WTC at $105 after their big pullback).
I'm sharing my story because that's what we do here - share stories and thoughts. I was encouraged by others who made the leap to their own greener pastures. The bottom line is - Do you believe A2M will outperform your other idea? Otherwise lock in your loss (and capital gains deduction) and take the better performing idea. I wish everyone very good fortune!
