yup banning shorting would see an end to lots of the nonsense, price suppression, short and distort etc. its theft and the big boys put out garbage fud consistently.
Full transparency from insto moves on day, and caps to their trades aswell. need to be kept under constant watch too not just by gov as they are corrupt stains as proven by inaction but by retail too, any sniff of illegal things and its heavy punishment. Even better would be too just boot out the likes of citi, ubs, blackrock, vanguard, maqurie etc.. dont need the stains holding any power over business at all.
at same time, implement heavier punishment for businesses who try to scam out too.. lots of asx like that.
