The drop today is just a raid on retailers investments testing stop loss functionality. ts not great and should be illegal but hey ho. A2 is a target for shorters, not sure how long this will continue hopefully a day in February will burn enough of them to make them go away. tick with the technicals and we should be ok.
Not sure the comparison with Apple & A2 is worthwhile, two different sectors and different value drivers.
Appreciate you are concerned about discounted products, but the one picture I have seen (I can't say I have seen others) had a day left of the use by date, I would expect a supermarket to discount to that level (I believe they start discounting five days out).
I have seen no compelling evidence of this being an ongoing issue (unlike empty shelves).
However, this is my opinion DYOR.
