Thanks @h00ts as yeah interesting read as yeah hard to see what the benefit are to existing super members that are invested in active super funds.It looks like a rort when they only get a piddly amount of interest paid by the hedge funds who wreak havoc on the SP of the stock that they borrow to short so "Duty of Care" by Super Trustees seems to go out the window in these scenarios.
Again all the pro shorters will counter that it provides liquidity but in my book it is more like short term manipulation by the big instos and gamblers that love play with retail monies that haven't got the deep pockets to ride out the storms!
I think I will keep to my preferred Fundamental Analysis and long term philosophy as I find it much easier to gauge that your specialised TA field!
