Before things ran out of control in the other thread (fun reading though!) the message was put out to expect "high volatility" before June 15.
Well we sure got that, and it's far from over. "High volatility" when holding this stock can make you very uneasy and the market overreacts every time in my limited experience. Remember BAL's trading halt? Can't recall the details but I'm wondering why this situation is different. And it's more mysterious than their situation, or anything I've read in here. 3% difference in (very high) expectations shouldn't trigger a 25% sell-off of a rapidly expanding company. Can't imagine what we would have with a repeat of the Wyeth (ridiculous) debacle.
I'm sure I'll get "overpriced", "competition" etc but this is a well-run conservative company in terms of management and integrity and they always play it with a straight bat. That's worth more than anything IMO
