On 4 Dec. Fonterra announced the unwinding of its joint venture with beingmate which is selling its 51% stake in the Darnum Victorian milk powder factory. A2 should buy or go into JV with Fonterra and produce IF in Aus for the Aus and Diagoh market leaving NZ to export direct into china. This will put a rocket under SP.
however I am sceptical of the deal with Fonterra. This was one of the stated goals in the feb 18 announcement. But, due to lack of progress and transparency, I fear that the relationship is not working too well and Fonterra is only interested in serving the needs of their A1 share holders. Which may include slowing down A2. I hope that I am wrong.
