charts are good to see what's happen in the past and indicators attached to charts do exactly that. patterns show human behaviour to a point if you know the news etc.... attached to the pattern. fundamentals move share prices. Shorts are speculators. Have a look at BAL on Monday morning. threw TA and shorts to the curb.
