Without going into too much detail, which would be tedious for most right now....

The Short Chart tells a similar story - modest (speculative) recent support, apart from a single higher volume bar (which may or may not have also included some off market trading) on the 19th September, which possibly suggests some stronger potential buying.
I reiterate that if the recent buying is mostly speculative, they are not likely to be committed yet, and would likely dump fresh positions if sentiment changes for whatever reason or if price was to clearly break below this recent sideways trading range.

Daily short volume in red (pushing down, and in the same scale as normal volume, so they are relative)
Short Interest in yellow (area chart - scale to the left)
Hollow proportion of the bar shows any gap from the previous close
