These market manipulations are only a problem for the day traders who cant keep up.
If you are in it for the long term then these daily manipulations don't make any difference to yoru long term position - it will just increase gradually over time.
(The only other problem is for long term holders who find they need to generate cash quickly, have to liquidate their shareholding on a down day)
The flip side for long term holders is to do the research and if it stacks up, and the market has been manipulated down, just take advantage of the buying opportunity. (Disc I ended 2.2% up on yesterdays buy)
