There would be lots of funds that would have to adjust their weighting including the large super funds - that Wilson article would coincide with what I am seeing in the charts - all these large funds will have a fair idea who is in and who is out on all the ASX 200 stocks.
The footer also ties in with what i have seen in the past the funds are ahead of the game so they dont have to chase the stock after the S & P formal announcement so I wouldn't expect any significant share price spike on the day of the announcement or the day of inclusion. ( if A2M is in fact included )
Also add to that the December option expiry half fin year and full calendar' year.
