Thanks - does anyone have any other broker reports for point of comparison?
Another aimless day on the market today dominated by algorithmic trading - no doubt a few more to come until the financial year end results and anticipated updates on Fonterra strategy, China market share, US, UK, South Korea, Singapore, NZ, any new markets (Japan?), margins and any direction on quantum of increase in marketing, overheads.
May even be an update on dividends, or how best the cash is to be invested going forward.
Plenty to look forward to in FY 2019 and FY 2020 and beyond.
A safe bet that the share price will reflect future earnings potential and Jayne will have to demonstrate she can grow revenues, market share and manage costs within expectations. Brokers will likely err on the side of caution after getting carried away and will likely get it wrong again for FY19.
I'm predicting $1.4 - $1.5m NZD revenues, predicated on larger footprint in China (MBS stores and online and larger daigou) as well as increase in US and UK. Am picking South Korea to be the dark horse and to adopt our product and turn a profit ahead of budget.
Looking forward to the annual general meeting. Anyone going or just watching via live feed?
