The recent SAM survey has identified a large conductive feature, with an interpreted strike in excess of 300 metres, at the intersection of the Ida Fault and the Cathedrals Belt. The Ida Fault is a deep, tectonic fault that is known to be associated with significant mineral deposits to the north and south of the Mt Alexander Project. This area remains largely undrilled and is referred to as the West End Prospect. This new conductive and structurally important area is a high priority target for the discovery of nickel-copper sulphides and will be the first target to be drilled when drilling re-commences at Mt Alexander shortly

Ida Fault – Potential Source of Mineralisation: In large sulphide mineral systems, copper values are typically higher in the outer margins of the system and lower near the source of the mineralisation – because copper is more mobile than nickel. At the Cathedrals Belt, copper values at the Cathedrals Prospect are higher than those at the Investigators Prospect suggesting that Investigators may be closer to the source. This model supports the potential for the intersection of the Cathedrals Belt with the Ida Fault to be highly prospective for nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation and the possible source of the intrusive rocks that host nickel-copper sulphides along the Cathedrals Belt.

    Gap Geophysics -website

New geophysical surveys by GapGeophysics have highlighted a number of conductive features within theCathedrals Belt that are compelling targets for the extension of nickel-coppersulphide mineralisation including:

    ·
A large conductive area identifiedadjacent to the intersection of the Ida Fault and Cathedrals Belt, a highlyprospective location for the potential concentration of nickelcopper sulphidemineralisation

    ·
Two conductive anomalies identifiedin the northern section of the Investigators Prospect, favourably locateddown-dip and along strike of known high-grade nickel-copper sulphides

    ·
Two conductive anomalies identifiedin the underexplored Bullets Prospect, to the east of and along strike ofhigh-grade mineralisation discovered at the Cathedrals Prospect

    ·
New targets are corroborated by datafrom three separate geophysical surveys – the recent Sub-Audio Magnetics (SAM)survey as well as prior moving loop EM (MLEM), fixed loop EM (FLEM) and fixedloop SAMSON surveys

The recent SAM survey has identified a largeconductive feature, with an interpreted strike in excess of 300 metres, at theintersection of the Ida Fault and the Cathedrals Belt. The Ida Fault is a deep, tectonic fault that is known to be associated with significant mineral depositsto the north and south of the Mt Alexander Project.

The moving loop EM (MLEM) survey is now in progress and is covering areas outside of current zones of known nickel-copper mineralisation, as shown in Figure 2. The MLEM survey will utilise both traditional and Slingram configurations – the latter uses a sensor inside and outside of the survey loop, which results in the effects of palaeo-drainage and conductive cover being minimised. The MLEM survey commenced to the east of the Cathedrals Prospect. Already early results indicate an anomalous response along the interpreted eastern extension of the mineralised trend known to host nickel-copper sulphides at the Cathedrals Prospect. Any response will be followed up and assessed with a FLEM survey to help refine the EM modelling. The MLEM survey will move to the West End Prospect in the coming days.

The elephant in the room imho along with Investigators . We cant be that far away with the last lot of EM survey and modelling … and suspect it will be thrown into the mix pretty early

Kudos to JP has the right mix now cross referencing the involvement of our recent tech team / Southern Geoscience / Gap /Newexco / TS / Jubilee-cosmos , flying fox , spotted Quoll . If there is massive sulphides there these guys have all done it before ( at least twice and some are on a hattrick... ) and they will find the best that is down there . All leading local experts in there fields

One heck of a ride if one or more come in and if all the overlapping EM techniques and expertise prove to increase the accuracy and precision and we start stringing together some meterage

    Good Fortune to All

    News Release

ASSAYS CONFIRM HIGH GRADE NICKEL DISCOVERY AT SPOTTED QUOLL

Formal assay results have just been received for the first diamond drill hole (WBD 18) at the

‘Spotted Quoll’ prospect, 6km south of Flying Fox. Preliminary results from WBD 18

announced on 16 October were 4.6m at 4% nickel (using a portable Niton XRF analyser).

The assay results of the sulphide zone intersected in WBD 18 are:

6.2m @ 4.8% nickel from 119.9m down hole depth, including:

    3.6m @ 6.9% nickel from 121.5m down hole depth

The assays include values up to 8.3% nickel confirming the high nickel tenor of the nickel

sulphides. Preliminary interpretation of the geology which is supported by banding in the drill

core indicates the intersection has a true width of approximately 5.5m.

The assay results are considered to be very significant and suggest potential for another

nickel deposit of the Flying Fox ‘type’.

Drilling is planned to resume in two weeks or earlier, if a drill rig can be sourced from

elsewhere at the Forrestania Nickel Project. Drilling will initially test the potential above,

along strike and below the intersection in WBD 18 to a vertical depth of 200m.

Comparison with other nickel sulphide discoveries

The intersection of 6.2m @ 4.8% nickel in WBD 18 compares very favourably with ‘discovery

intersections’ reported from other Western Australian nickel deposits. Examples include

    Flying Fox T1 : 6.6m @ 7.9% nickel, Cosmos : 3m @ 7.5% nickel, Silver Swan : 2.5m @

    16.7% nickel, Waterloo : 10.7m @ 5.1% nickel and Miitel North : 5.4m @ 3.3% nickel.

Spotted Quoll differs from most other high grade nickel discoveries as it occurs at shallow

depth and was intersected in the first drill hole at only 100m vertical depth.

SAM SURVEYS DEFINE NEW TARGET AREAS Extensions of Host Structures Confirmed: The recent SAM survey completed on the Cathedrals Belt has been highly successful in defining the structural corridor which hosts the Cathedrals Belt ultramafic complex. These structures are interpreted to be the likely source through which mafic/ultramafic intrusions hosting nickel-copper sulphides have passed upwards from the Earth’s mantle. The SAM survey is a high definition technique developed for simultaneous mapping of the electrical and magnetic characteristics of the ground. The most conductive areas are displayed as warm colours in survey data – see Figure 1 for the modelled SAM data across the Cathedrals Belt. The survey has shown outstanding detail of features within the Cathedrals corridor and, inparticular, highlights a number of host structures associated with the knownnickel-copper sulphide mineralisation. Typically, the nickel-copper sulphidesare seen in embayments of these structures – a textbook setting for theaccumulation of this type of mineralisation

again .... Good Fortune to ALL and may our 100% tenements ( ...bullets straddling the borderline , fishhook ) value add as well early
