Well projecting profits for a loss maker takes both optimism and imagination. Things which super bears lack usually.
They struggle to see beyond anything that hasn't yet happened. So all of their predictions are based at levels of economic growth we have already experienced before.
A super bear literally needs their prediction to have an end reference point that is known to have occurred before. Meaning all of their long term price targets and economic outlooks will be based on a previous share price or index value.
All simply because they cannot imagine a world that has seen prolonged progress too far into the future.
They do have limited imagination though. Like saying some small jump will occur before a crash. That's the extent of it pretty much.
