This is an interesting graph to explain it a little better, yellow line is Short %, grey line is SP.
Its inversely related, we hit a low at $6.56 when short interest was at its highest at 11.84%.
As they've closed, the SP has gone higher
To sum it up, shorts are unfortunately well in control of Zip SP - the sooner they close out the better
