The hang seng is the Hong Kong index and if you haven’t heard people are dropping like flies from covid.
Unfortunately China doesn’t want to admit their vaccine sucks….hence continually locking down the country while they develop their own MRNA vaccines. Meanwhile the complacent population didn’t get vaxed up and now omicron is wreaking havoc. Businesses getting crushed and exodus of foreign entities from strict quarantine is spelling the end for HK.
