Great post.
This is why Z1p / QP will be able to offer (or more so justify) $6 admin monthly fee eventually for these additional services. Combine this with other functionalities of the app (e.g. Pocketbook for expense management / budgeting tool) and the app doesn't just provide payments pathway but an all in one to keep customers within the app.
Hence the reason for the merchant fee being more like a 'referral fee' as such and without the competition to drop margins to that of Paypal if it can provide a point of differentiation for the customer. Paypal has been around for decades and still never thought to invest in this sort of tech or evolve.
