Physical card under covid is not a bad idea, I found out really frustrated when I'm wearing a mask and try to unlock my Iphone to pay at checkout, it doesn't not recognise my face with mask. So I have to either take off my mask or take my wallet out. So if US will force ppl to wear mask to fight the covid, then physical card might be easier at check out than using your phone.
