I had $200,000 invested in NAB and WBC back in May, so I decided to put the same amount in BNPL. I liked Z1P's valuation the best. Z1P is only 6% of my holdings. My decision was also partly based on my growing impatience with CCV. I am a truely a ''long suffering holder'' of CCV since 2015. All CCV needed is a dividend announement. But, dividend is hard to come by these day. I sold 200,000 CCV out of my 700,000 holding, and also sold 2,000 JIN out of my 8,000 holding to finance the aquisition of Z1P. It was just repostioning my investment from old world to new world. My working capital mostly came from VCX that I bought in 2009. Last ten years, the dividends from VCX paid for itself three times over. I still own all the original shares in my Commsec accout, alone with CQR and SYD all bought in 2009. I can't sell due to hugh capital gain tax on "multi-baggers". VCX, CQR, SYD, JIN and NAB are all good dividend payers when things return to normal two years from now. CCV most likely will come online with 100% Franking dividend.
This pandemic imposed restrictions like travel ban that poses real challenges to REITs. I decided to go all SAAS in this crisis. Like they say, never waste a crisis. Double down. Just sold my 6,000 WBC to buy MP1 and BTH two weeks ago. Looking to buy another two tech companies next week. By the way, Warren said this.
