Murdochvet your missing the larger macroeconomic picture as the decline in credit cards is largely due to an increase in household savings and people paying down debt en masse.
It was happening before Covid but that just accelerated the process and December retail figures were dissapointing but expect them to fall off a cliff from January 2021
